Front Desk Supervisor

Job Objective: The Front Desk Supervisor leads the front desk team ensuring a high standard of service and the best possible guest experience

Duties, Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the Front Desk
  • Ensure Resort operating standards are consistently maintained at the Front Desk
  • Work a regularly scheduled front desk shift
  • Be available to work any shift as needed
  • Greet guests upon arrival at resort
  • Register and check in - out guests
  • Ensure guest requests, inquiries & concerns addressed in a timely manner
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • Provide general information about points of interest in the area
  • Take lodging, vacation ownership and resort amenity reservations
  • Maximize room revenue & upsell through training, motivation, promotion and incentives
  • Market, promote and up sell events, packages, recreation programs, amenities & tickets
  • Work with all departments to ensure the Resort meets or exceeds guest expectations
  • Front Desk staff scheduling
  • Front desk adherence to company policies, procedures and standards
  • Provide feedback & training to team members on performance & standards of behavior
  • Manage Travel apps - Expedia, Hotel.com and other similar on-line services
  • Weekly analytics - lodging tracker, property management reports, phone analysis, other
  • Daily housekeeping room assignments (at some point in future)
  • Complete knowledge of Resort web sites, products, processes and Front Desk software:
  • Visual Matrix, e4soft, Hospitality SalesPro
  • Vacation Ownership Processes (Resort and II)
  • Night Audit; cash out and reconciliation of daily sales (must be accurate)
  • On-site contact for Front Desk IT systems
  • Responsible for ensuring Front Desk IT systems are operational
